Holga Pinhole Adventures

Wow. When I opened this present from the missus at Christmas and noticed how cheaply made it was I honestly thought I would get nothing from it. Added to the budget build and its extremely light weight I soon discovered that the shutter stuck, had no cable release for its 7 second to 1 minute plus exposures (you have to just hold the button down, shaking hands effect included fee of charge, despite the tripod) and also that a little, seemingly pointless swinging-wheel-with-a-skewed square-in-it-thing underneath the shutter blocked one corner with a random triangle every second frame as it clearly wasn't made to clear the pinhole! Then I developed them and immediately fell in love :)

More to follow now that I have fixed the shutter open to use just the lens cap and have used my Dremel to grind a larger window on the round thing underneath the shutter so it no longer leaves triangles (I kid you not).

My son says they look like album covers so I think I'll take that.

PS On a side note, the film was packaged as HP5 but turned out to be Delta 400 Pro!
